Our mission is to address the critical middle and high school drop-out rate in underserved communities, offering a holistic multi-faceted disciplined approach to learning in nurturing environments. We address the academic, social, and emotional needs of pre-k through 12th grade students. Students are challenged, those who are struggling are not left behind, and those who believe they can’t compete are encouraged and taught to believe in themselves and their abilities.
EYM teachers and staff teach, tutor, mentor, nurture and encourage students based on their individual strengths and weaknesses, not ours. Our graduates attend or have graduated from Stanford, USC, UCLA, Cornell, UCLA, Columbia, Pepperdine, Howard, Morehouse, Spelman, UC Berkeley and so many others.
